The Vine suites in Santorini

“The Vine” is a brand new boutique property which consists of four (4) different sophisticated suites,each unique, in the traditional village of Vourvoulos. The suites are located in the lava made slopes of the Eastern side of Santorini, nestled among traditional old vineyards. The area offers magnificent and panoramic view to the deep blue of the Aegean Sea and to the nearby islands.

Santorini’s unique nature and its breathtaking views, provide the ideal backdrop to experience yoga and meditation practices.

It’s hard enough to leave Santorini and our amazing views, what if private yoga classes were available in your villa or suite ? We can arrange private yoga classes to help you unwind and regenerate, indoors or at your veranda, where you can Zen out while gazing at the endless blue. Perhaps you want a slow Hatha yoga class, a challenging Vinyasa class, a meditative restorative practice, or somewhere in between? Perhaps you want to explore breathing techniques, or experience a Yoga Nidra session, a meditation session or a soothing Sound Healing Bath ? Maybe you don’t know what style of yoga you like; you may want to work on specific areas of your body or you just want to feel good. Our yoga teacher will create a class on the spot to meet your needs. We can also custom tailor a yoga practice for you at the beach or anywhere you wish in the island – even on our boat! Let us work with you to develop a practice that can be physically challenging, moderate, or gentle.

Hatha Yoga Classes

Hatha yoga, the foundation of all yoga practises. This class is ideal for all levels of practitioners, from beginners to seasoned yogis. A full Hatha yoga class includes pranayama (breathwork), asana (body postures) and meditation.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa ( translates to “flowing with breath”) is a dynamic style of Hatha yoga focusing on the flow between movements, rather than the individual poses. Vinyasa yoga classes tend to be more vigorous but can adapt to all levels of practitioners.

Restorative Yoga / Yoga Therapy

Restorative Yoga is a relaxing style of yoga practice that leaves you feeling open and refreshed. It is suitable for all practitioners regardless of physical fitness or yoga experience and ideal to relax and unwind after a long day exploring the beauties of Santorini.

Partner Yoga – Couples Yoga

This is an ideal class to connect even deeper with your loved ones. Partner Yoga invites trust, openness, patience, support, communication, and balance into your yoga practice and into your relationship. You and your partner will help each other to stretch, strengthen and relax physical, mental, and emotional tensions and.. have fun! No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Sunrise Yoga

The perfect time to practice ! Greet the day with a sunrise yoga practice at 7:30 AM.

Hike and Yoga

Hike for an hour through the spectacular volcano path enjoying unparalleled views and arrive at a secluded spot where you’ll enjoy an al fresco yoga practice in blissful solitude with your private instructor. End your practice with a guided meditation which encourages you to reconnect with the breath, set intentions, and invoke the ancient healing properties of our volcanic land.

Pranayama – Breathing Techniques

Pranayama (meaning control of life force) is an ancient and powerful tool to optimise your breathing. In this class we will learn and practice pranayama techniques that you can integrate to your daily life to heal, revitalise and recharge both body and mind.

Meditation / Mindfulness Techniques

Bring some more zen and harmony into your Santorini holiday with a meditation session that will leave you calm and centered. It is a great way to expand your meditative horizons especially in the ideal backdrop of Santorini. All levels of yoga experience are welcome.

Yoga Nidra * The Yogic Sleep

Yoga Nidra is a unique and powerful meditation practice that will leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed, peaceful, and joyfull. This form of deep rest allows you to fully let go so that mind and body can restore to their natural state of balance. This session is perfect for those who wish to relax, gain greater sleep quality, and build mental clarity.

Meditative Sound Baths

Unwind while immersed in  healing sounds that evoke a state of peaceful calm. Himalayan bowls, rain sticks, river and sea drums, chimes and xylophones combine in a tapestry of  healing music to bring you to a place of deep relaxation and meditation. Each Sound Bath alternates between sound and silence and its a unique healing and revitalising experience for one’s body, mind and spirit.
